What Makes Our Contractor License Training Programs So Effective?

Careermakers'Contractor Licensing Home Study Course will allow you to satisfy the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) 16-hour education requirement from your home or office. Upon completion of the study materials you will be fully prepared to pass the state license exam the first time you take it!

Requirements for a Contractor's License

• File your assumed business name, LLC or corporation with the Oregon Secretary of State's Corporation Division
• Submit a completed application to the CCB with the required fee
• Submit the required surety bond
• Provide proof of liability insurance
• Provide evidence of completion of the prerequisite education
• Pass the open book state license exam (www.psiexams.com)
• Provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, if applicable

Steps to Your Success

• Enroll and start your study course.
• Complete the required education hours.
• Submit assignments and/or study log to our school.
• Your information will be submitted to the CCB data base.
• Register within 48 hours to take the test.
• Pass the state exam with a score of 70% or better.
• Receive your state license and begin your new career!
