Oregon Advanced Real Estate Practices

Required for first-time license renewal

All brokers licensed after July 1, 2002 are required to satisfy the 30 hour Advanced Practices continuing education course for first-time license renewal.  The Oregon Real Estate Agency also permits this course to be used for continuing education for brokers not renewing for the first time.

The course is divided into the following required sections

  • Ethics
  • Disclosure
  • Advanced Agency
  • Licensee Discipline
  • Economics and the Practice of Real Estate
  • Current Events in Oregon Real Estate Practice
  • Property Management

Each section is followed by a short quiz.  You must pass each quiz with a score of at least 75% After all sections are completed, a final examination of 60 questions will be accessible. You must appoint someone who is not a relative or who does not profit from your real estate license to verify your identity for the real estate agency. Certificates are available for immediate download with a passing score of at least 75%.

All quizzes and the final examination are completed online. Our online method of course material, grading and certificate delivery are all fully approved by the Oregon Real Estate Agency.
